Is the ♥ heart symbol inspired by swans kissing ?

The neck of a swan is shaped exactly like half a heart, so if two swans kiss each other their parrelel necks resemble a ♥ heart. Is this just a coincident ? Or did prehistoric people make the symbol of love ♥heart depicting kissing swans.
