Did god create people and dinosaurs at the same time? Did he want prehistoric apes to worship him as well?

No I believe that mankind came well after the dinosaurs. Depictions of man and dinosaurs on earth at the same time is a fantasy that play at the imagination of children. Because most adults do not mature mentally their child-like imagination carries on into adulthood, the same with the depiction of God as a human.
