Relationship problem: How to i get my boyfriend to communicate more with me?

I am from asian coutry and i been raised up traditionally. I'm under many stress the past few year.I dont know why i feel this way. I will get angry and jealous if i see my boyfriend hugging his female cousins intimately in a photo . I know it's nothing and i shoudnt be worried about this. We are having long distance relationship & planing to get marry but i feel insecure when i see him hug girls. Due to many reasons, not only the hugging stuff like ignore my text and call which lead to lack of communication, I confront him about the picture and tell him what i feel. It's like he dont even bother and care how i feel. I want to break up with him and he scolded me dont treat him as a dog and i never trust him. I am really upset. I tell him would he stop flirting and hug other female for you love one? He just replied ''I love you''. I feel this way because i love him. I ask him can we communicated more because i dont want to have any misunderstanding again but i got no reply from him over a mail yesterday. He's at other country now and we only can communicate through mails because i cant afford the expensive bills. He's a stubborn guy, he get defensive if one criticism him and would never admit his faults. How can i get him to communicate more? Can someone give me some advice?
