Texted a girl, but no response.?

we haven't been friends that long, and recently found that were going to the college. i plan on asking her out soon, but not right now. anyway i texted, her this morning about enrolling in a class she's in so we can have a class together. Of course she hasn't texted me back, so either she didn't get the text or she just didn't response. so what I'm really asking, here is should i text her again and asked, or just wait till i see her person, or wait a little longer? i guess, I'm trying not to sound creepy, or annoying or something in that manner. I'm not that awesome in the dating scene, so I'm trying my hardest to play my cards right.
